On Monday, February 24, 2020, at 2:33 PM, Colorado River Station (CRS) deputies responded to a burglary in the 16400 block of Keim Blvd in the unincorporated area of Blythe, CA. Several power tools with an estimated value in excess of $1000 were stolen from the location. Further investigation revealed the whereabouts of the stolen property as well as identifying Agustin Araiza, 45, of Blythe, as a suspect for his involvement in the burglary.
On Monday, February 24, 2020, at 8:35 PM, a search warrant was authored and served in the 18200 block of Bellwood Drive in the unincorporated area of Blythe. Multiple stolen items from the burglary were recovered during the search warrant. Araiza was arrested and booked into the Blythe Jail for possession of stolen property, burglary, and conspiracy to commit burglary.
