Members of the Jurupa Valley Station’s Special Enforcement Team (SET) representing the cities of Jurupa Valley and Eastvale have been aggressively targeting illegal indoor marijuana grows throughout the cities of Jurupa Valley and Eastvale in 2020.
On February 21, 2020, at 09:45 AM, at the direction of Sheriff Chad Bianco, members from the Jurupa Valley station’s SET conducted a marijuana eradication search warrant on the 6800 block of Nottoway Ct., in the city of Jurupa Valley.

Deputies recovered a total amount of 469 marijuana plants and 5 pounds of processed marijuana. Also, $17,000 in US Currency was located and seized for Asset Forfeiture, (all weights are approximate, the currency is estimated as it was placed in a sealed bag for counting within the Accounting and Financing Division).
The following subjects were arrested for illegal marijuana cultivation and possession of marijuana for sales. Subsequently, they were booked at the Robert Presley Detention Center:
- Liu, Xiaoxia, 32-year old resident of the city of Jurupa Valley.
- Liang, Yan, 33-year old resident of the city of San Leandro.
Jurupa Valley City Code Enforcement officers were summoned to the location and they conducted their own separate investigations into various building code violations.
