On Tuesday, February 18, 2020, deputies from the Lake Elsinore Station were dispatched to an assault with a deadly weapon call for service. The victim was at a local hospital receiving medical treatment for severe injuries. Deputies were able to obtain a vague suspect description and location of crime.
The Lake Elsinore Station Investigation Bureau assumed the investigation and on Thursday, February 20, 2020, investigators were able to identify the suspect in the assault as Ruby Mora, a 20-year-old female from Wildomar. Mora was located in the area of Casino Drive and Malaga Road where she was taken into custody. Mora was booked at the Cois Bryd Detention Center where she is being held on lieu of a one-million-dollar bail.
