On Thursday, January 30, 2020, at 7:00 A.M., deputies and investigators from the Perris Sheriff Station, Riverside County Sheriff Special Investigation Bureau, and SWAT initiated an investigation into the report of a kidnapping for ransom. The victim reportedly attempted to purchase a large quantity of illegally cultivated marijuana from the suspects, which subsequently lead to his forceful kidnapping.

As the investigation unfolded, the victim was rescued and secured by investigators. Deputies conducted a traffic stop of two suspect trucks at the intersection of Wilkerson Avenue and 4th Street in Perris. Suspects Nicolas Hernandez Villasenor (31 years old resident of Perris), Miguel Mora Reyes (20 years old resident of Perris), Huber Colima Saucedo (25 years old resident of Perris), and Israel Meza Valerio (35 years old resident of Perris) were arrested and later booked at the Cois Byrd Detention Center on kidnapping charges.

Perris Station investigators authored search warrants for three residences related to the kidnapping.  About 4:30 PM, SWAT deputies served search warrants at two residences within the 30000 block of Allen Road, Homeland, during which over 1400 marijuana plants were located.  Further, harmful chemicals were present throughout the illegal marijuana grow.  At the direction of Sheriff Chad Bianco, all marijuana plants were eradicated.

About 5:00 PM, SWAT deputies served a search warrant at a residence within the 100 block of Midway Street, Perris.  Search of the residence located eight firearms, over 475 pounds of processed marijuana, and US currency. Antelmo Villa (29 years old resident of Perris) was arrested at the Midway Street address and later booked at the Cois Byrd Detention Center on kidnapping charges.

The kidnapping investigation is on-going. Anyone with additional information is urged to call contact Sergeant Michael Hamilton via the Riverside County Sheriff’s dispatch at (951) 776-1099, or the Perris Station at (951) 210-1000.  Further, the Riverside County Sheriff’s personnel are investigating the initial illicit marijuana transaction which lead to the kidnapping and will file all applicable charges on all involved suspects upon completion of the investigation.
