On Friday, September 06, 2019, at 3:15 PM, deputies from the from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, San Jacinto Station responded to various businesses within the city limits regarding Illegal Gambling Establishments. Deputies from the San Jacinto Station recently noticed an increase in transient activity at these locations. The investigation revealed these businesses were conducting unlawful gambling utilizing video slot machines for monetary gain. Prior to responding to these locations, The Department of Justice “Bureau of Gambling Control” was notified and provided their expertise.
Deputies seized a total of six video slot machines from three separate businesses in the City of San Jacinto. Charges for 337 PC-Unlawful bookmaking / wagering (felony) will be filed against each business owner.
