On Monday, December 9, 2019, at approximately 01:49 hours, deputies assigned to the Southwest Station responded to a call for service involving a lewd act on a child that occurred at a residence located on the 30000 block of Hollybrooke Lane in French Valley.  The initial investigation revealed an adult male visited the residence and performed a lewd act on a child who resides at the location.  The male was identified as Ronnie Scott, a 59-year-old resident of Mira Loma.  During the course of the investigation, a second victim, who is now an adult, was identified.     

On Wednesday, December 11, 2019, Investigators served a search warrant at a residence located on the 5400 block of Rigel Way in Mira Loma. Ronnie Scott was arrested at the location without incident.  Evidence in connection with the investigation was seized from the location.  Scott was subsequently booked at the Cois Byrd Detention Center for various crimes involving sex acts on a minor.
