On August 1, 2023, about 4:34 AM, deputies assigned to the Cabazon Sheriff’s Station responded to a business on the 48000 block of Seminole Drive in Cabazon, regarding a burglary alarm activation. Deputies learned multiples subjects entered a business and stole several thousand dollars of merchandise. One subject later identified as 20-year-old Reginald Mitchell was detained near the scene. He was positively identified as one of the suspects and placed under arrest. Mitchell was booked into the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility for burglary and committing a felony while out on bail. Cabazon Station investigators are following up on leads to identify the outstanding suspects.
