On November 8, 2019, at the direction of Sheriff Chad Bianco, deputies assigned to the Perris Problem Oriented Policing Team at the Riverside County Sheriff’s Perris Station conducted an operation with Perris Code Enforcement to address the illegal food vendors in the city of Perris. The purpose of this operation was to address citizen and business owner complaints regarding the illegal vendors throughout the city. Deputies and Code Enforcement officers assigned to the operation set out on the pro-active mission and took a zero-tolerance stance against illegal vending. During this operation, a total of 15 violators were cited for Perris Municipal Code Violations.
