On Friday, March 20, 2020, at 9:25 hours, deputies assigned to the Palm Desert Sheriff’s Station, were dispatched to the 71900 block of Jaguar Way, Palm Desert, where an assault with a deadly weapon with a firearm was reported. Upon arrival, deputies detained Brian Burr, 47 years of Palm Desert. A gun violence restraining order was authored, along with a search warrant at Burr’s residence. Numerous firearms and ammunition were seized. Burr was arrested for Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Criminal Threats and booked into the county jail in Indio.
