Details:
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office Colorado River Station, with the assistance of Blythe Police Department, California Highway Patrol, Riverside County District Attorney’s Office, Riverside County Probation, Southern Coachella Valley Community Services District Team, and the Riverside County Post Release Accountability and Compliance Team, participated in a Quality-of-Life operation within the City of Blythe and surrounding Palo Verde Valley communities. The mission was to conduct a proactive patrol of high criminal activity areas and apprehend subjects with active warrants or who were determined to have committed a criminal offense. This was a zero-tolerance event. All subjects found to be in violation of a criminal offense or wanted on an active warrant were booked at the Blythe Jail. In total, 20 subjects were arrested for various offenses, including possessing brass knuckles, possessing drugs and drug paraphernalia, five felony warrants, and 27 misdemeanor warrants.
This event would not have been possible without the cooperative efforts of our allied agencies within Riverside County. The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office Colorado River Station is committed to protecting the communities of the Palo Verde Valley and the City of Blythe from criminal activity and be vigilant in its efforts to arrest the offenders.
