On Wednesday, March 1st, 2023, deputies from the Moreno Valley Station responded to a report of a burglary of a vacant home in the 24000 block of Sandbow Street in the city of Moreno Valley. The new homeowners were in the process of remodeling the home when they were startled by people who were stealing tools and squatting in their home. Deputies detained one of the people; however, the others fled before the deputy arrived. Evidence of illegal drug trafficking was found inside the home, and the Moreno Valley POP team was called to assist. After a detailed investigation, the POP team identified Scott Wall, 30 years old, from Moreno Valley as the primary suspect and arrested him. The POP team ultimately recovered just over 17 pounds of methamphetamine from Wall. Wall was booked on two dangerous drug sales charges, violating the terms of his probation and trespassing.
