On October 05, 2022, at 7:30 AM, Moreno Valley Station’s Special Teams responded to multiple locations in Riverside County and one location in Los Angeles County, to serve search warrants regarding illegal marijuana grow operations. These warrants were the result of a month’s long investigation conducted by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department. During the service of the warrants, approximately 2,700 marijuana plants, 42lbs of processed marijuana, and items associated with illegal marijuana sales, were located.
Winson Huang, a 50-year-old resident of Alhambra, was arrested for marijuana cultivation and sales. He was later booked at the Robert Presley Detention Center.
The goal of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is to improve the quality of life for those residing within the communities we serve. “Community Policing” involves partnerships between law enforcement and community members.
