On August 26, 2022, members of the Palm Desert Station’s Burglary Suppression Unit (BSU) assisted by members of the Palm Desert and Indian Wells Special Enforcement Teams served a residential search warrant at a residence located in the 77000 block of Michigan Drive, within the Palm Desert Country Club community.
The search warrant was the result of an extensive investigation into multiple similar residential burglaries committed within the same community from June 2022 to August 2022. During the investigation, BSU members developed leads and located evidence that helped to identify the suspect as Adan Holguin, a 36-year-old-resident of Palm Desert. During the service of the search warrant, additional pieces of evidence and property belonging to the victims were recovered. Holguin was arrested and later booked on multiple counts of burglary, Possession of Stolen Property, and Felon in Possession of Ammunition at the John Benoit Detention Center in Indio.
