Upon deputies' arrival, it was determined a 32-year-old male was deceased. The case was immediately assumed by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Overdose Death Investigations and Narcotics Unit (ODIN). It was determined the decedent, Cameron Bridges, was a victim of a Fentanyl poisoning. The investigation continued and Tiffany Wright, a 39-year-old resident from the city of Palm Desert, was identified as being the suspect responsible for selling the Fentanyl that killed Bridges.

On May 3, 2022, Wright was located by ODIN personnel as well as personnel assigned to the Coachella Valley Narcotics Task Force.
