On Friday, April 28, 2022, members of the San Jacinto Sheriff’s Station Special Enforcement Team, in partnership with the Soboba Team, Hemet and San Jacinto Sheriff’s Station Patrol and Detective Bureau, as well as Special Enforcement Teams from several Sheriff’s Stations, Riverside County Gang Task Force, Major Crime Unit, Narc-2, Emergency Services Team, Fugitive Warrant Enforcement Team, RSO K9 Team, RSO Aviation Unit, Southwest Corridor Narcotics Task Force, Corrections Intelligence Bureau, Cois Byrd Detention Facility, Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility, Central PACT, Hemet Police Department, and Sheriff’s Emergency Response Team, concluded a three-month investigation into the criminal activities within the “San Ja/First Street” criminal street gang. San Jacinto SET gathered information regarding members of the gang actively selling and transporting narcotics and firearms. On today’s date, with the assistance of the teams listed above, several Search Warrants were served at several locations. The Operation yielded the following results:

  • 30 Search Warrants authored and served.
  • 12 felony arrests.
  • Three misdemeanor arrests.
  • One handgun.
  • Several rounds of live ammunition.
  • Several pistol and rifle magazines.
  • $3,000.
  • Approximately 3,000 fentanyl pills.
  • 10 grams of powder fentanyl.
  • Four pounds of methamphetamine.
  • Approximately 3 oz. of heroin.
  • 9.6 grams of cocaine.
  • Narcotics paraphernalia.
  • Digital scales.
  • Several cellular phones.
  • Tablets.
  • Computers.
  • Gang paraphernalia.
  • Credit card embosser.
  • Stolen Vehicle.
  • Cellebrite device.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is committed to creating safe and secure neighborhoods. Therefore, the San Jacinto and Hemet Sheriff’s Station will be conducting similar investigations on an ongoing basis.
