On Wednesday, October 16, 2019, at 5:00 P.M. the Coachella Valley Violent Crime Gang Task Force conducted a parole compliance check in the 47000 block of Lagoon Court in Indio. During the check, Task Force Officers seized a pistol-grip pump action shotgun. Task Force Officers arrested documented gang member, Christian Matthew Romero, 24 of Indio for being a Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Felon in Possession of Pepper Spray (Mace) and Violation of Parole. He was booked at the Indio Jail.
