On March 16, 2022 at approximately 1:00 p.m., members of the Murrieta/Temecula Regional Gang Task Force (Region 4) coordinated a search warrant service at a residence in the 20800 block of Hansen Avenue in the City of Nuevo. Members of the Perris / Lake Elsinore Regional Gang Task Force (Region 6), the Banning / Beaumont Regional Gang Task Force (Region 2), the Murrieta Police Department’s Special Enforcement Team (SET), and deputies from the Corrections Intelligence Bureau (CIB) assisted with the large property warrant service. Officers and deputies recovered a loaded firearm, drug paraphernalia, ammunition, gang indicia, and methamphetamine from the residence. As a result of the investigation, two felony arrests and one arrest for a misdemeanor warrant were made.
