Details:
On February 17, 2022, deputies assigned to the Lake Elsinore Station Special Enforcement Team (SET) served a search warrant in the 22800 block of Green Pine Drive, in the city of Canyon Lake.
During the service of the search warrant, a stolen 9mm Glock handgun, loaded with 11 rounds of 9mm ammunition, was located and recovered.
Cesar Alejandro Ayala-Sainz, age 22, a resident of Canyon Lake, was arrested and booked into Cois Byrd Detention Center for convicted felon in possession of a firearm, convicted felon in possession of ammunition and possession of a stolen firearm.
