Details:

On Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at 5:00 PM, deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff's Department, Palm Desert Station, responded to Worsley Road and Indian Canyon Drive in the unincorporated area of Desert Hot Springs for an unknown trouble call.

Information obtained by sheriff’s dispatch indicated a possible assault had taken place. Deputies arrived and found an unresponsive male. Deputies rendered medical aid to the male; however, he ultimately died at the location.

At this time, it is unknown if the death was a result of a medical condition or other contributing factors. Investigators from the Palm Desert Station and the Central Homicide Unit responded and assumed the investigation. The decedent's name is being withheld pending identification and next of kin notifications.

No suspects are being sought at this time, and additional details are not currently available. The Riverside County Sheriff's Department asks anyone with information regarding the incident to contact Central Homicide Investigator Juarez at (951) 955-2777.
