Members of the Jurupa Valley Station’s Special Enforcement Team (SET) representing the city of Jurupa Valley have been conducting high visibility saturation patrol in the city of Jurupa Valley.
On Wednesday, December 8, 2021, deputies assigned to the Special Enforcement Team conducted a vehicle traffic stop on Limonite Ave cross of Camino Real, Jurupa Valley. Deputies contacted the driver Martin Flores, 27, of Hesperia. A computer inquiry revealed that Flores was a documented criminal street gang member with three outstanding felony warrants for his arrest and was currently out on bail on a pending case from the county of San Bernardino.
A search of the vehicle was conducted, and it yielded two ghost handguns with ammunition, both guns and ammunition were seized. Flores was arrested and charged with being a Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Felon in Possession of Ammunition, Carrying a Concealed Firearm, and Possession of an Unregistered Firearm. Subsequently, Flores was booked at the Robert Presley Detention Center on his felony warrants, as well as the previously mentioned charges.
