Details:
On Wednesday, October 20th, 2021, Hemet Sheriff’s Station deputies responded to the 42000 block of East Florida Avenue, regarding a robbery using a firearm. Deputies arrived on-scene and secured the scene. They learned two individuals entered the business, brandished firearms, and fled with several items belonging to the business.
Several witnesses in the area were contacted and interviewed. Investigators with the Hemet Sheriff’s Station responded to the scene and assumed the investigation. While conducting their investigation, Jeremiah Woods, an 18-year-old resident of Hemet, was identified as one of the suspects involved in the robbery. Woods was located later in the evening and arrested. He was booked into the county jail for the robbery.
