On February 7, 2019, members of the Murrieta-Temecula Regional Gang Task Force, Central PACT, and the Murrieta PPCT conducted a probation search at a residence on Skylark Drive in the City of Lake Elsinore. The homeowner probationer ran from officers and locked himself in his residence. Another probationer living in a trailer on the property also disobeyed commands from officers and locked himself in his home. Officers eventually arrested both probationers without incident along with two other subjects on a variety of weapons, narcotics, stolen vehicle, and chop shop related charges. A shotgun, components of a Butane Honey Oil operation, a quarter ounce of methamphetamine, several pounds of marijuana, and 4 stolen vehicles were seized.
