On Saturday, April 3, 2021, at 5:08 AM, patrol deputies responded to the 20900 block of Malaga Rd. in Lake Elsinore reference a vehicle burglary. Investigating deputies were able to track the suspect to an area hotel. Deputies arrived to the hotel and made entry to the room where they believed the suspect was staying. The suspect, identified as Jerome Giles Santos Jr. (37 years of age) a resident of Wildomar, was located inside the hotel room along with Aaron Keil Milliron (49 years of age) a resident of Wildomar. Milliron was found in possession of approximately 30 grams of methamphetamine and numerous items related to narcotic sales.
Upon searching the room, deputies located numerous fraud related documents belonging to other people such as: vehicle titles, Employment Development Department (EDD) paperwork, checks, driver’s licenses, and lists of possible victims’ names, bank information, and social security numbers. Follow up investigations will occur in an attempt to identify and contact additional victims.
Santos and Milliron were taken to the Cois Byrd Detention Center. Santos was booked on the charges of burglary and identity theft. Milliron was booked on the charges of possession of narcotics for sales, violation of probation, and committing a felony while released on bail.
