Details:
On February 21, 2021, at 4:22 PM, deputies from the Thermal Sheriff’s Station responded to the 78-600 block of Highway 111, in the city of La Quinta, regarding a sexual battery. The victim reported they had been sexually assaulted during a massage session. The information was forwarded to the Thermal Station Investigations Bureau for further investigation.
On February 23, 2021, Zishu Zhang, 51 of Indio, was arrested by Thermal Station investigators for sexual battery and booked into the John Benoit Detention Center.
