Details:

On Saturday, February 20, 2021, at 6:03 P.M., members of the Riverside County Regional Gang Task Force Region 6 conducted a traffic stop on the I-215 south onramp and Redlands Avenue, in the city of Perris. Deputies contacted Cass Dixie, a 41-year-old resident of Hemet. Deputies discovered Dixie was operating his vehicle without a driver’s license. Deputies requested Dixie exit his vehicle and Dixie complied. A subsequent search of Dixie’s person revealed a loaded .38-caliber special revolver in his waistband. A search of Dixie’s vehicle revealed additional .38-caliber special ammunition and a small bindle of cocaine.

Dixie was taken into custody and charged with being a Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Felon in Possession of Ammunition, and Possession of a Controlled Substance While Armed. Dixie was booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center.
