Details:
On January 13, 2021, deputies assigned to the Lake Elsinore Station POP team served a search warrant at a residence in the 400 block of Adobe Street, in the city of Lake Elsinore, reference a narcotics investigation.
During the service of the search warrant, 5.5 pounds of methamphetamine, one rifle, large sum of U.S. currency and other indicia of sales of narcotics were located. Eduardo Cortez (27 years of age) a resident of the city of Lake Elsinore, was arrested.
Eduardo Cortez was transported to Cois Byrd Detention Center and booked on the charges of possession of narcotics for sales and possession of narcotics for sales while armed with a firearm.
