On December 29, 2020, deputies assigned to the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Stations Problem Oriented Policing Team received information regarding a possible illegal indoor marijuana cultivation occurring in the unincorporated area of La Cresta, county of Riverside. Deputies were advised of an odor of marijuana coming from a residence. After further investigation it was believed there was an illegal marijuana cultivation site at the location.
On December 29, 2020, deputies served a search warrant at a residence on Avenida La Cresta, in the unincorporated area of La Cresta, county of Riverside. The residence was used as an illegal marijuana cultivation site. Approximately 1000 marijuana plants in various stages of growth were located. A male was located inside the residence, Fuxian Liu, 32 from Long Beach, was running the illegal marijuana grow and was taken into custody. Fuxian was booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center for illegal marijuana cultivation.
