On December 15, 2020, at 8:29 pm, deputies responded to the 5500 block of Mission Blvd., in the city of Jurupa Valley, regarding an assault with a deadly weapon investigation. During the incident, the suspect later identified as Ernie Serrano, 33, of Jurupa Valley, attempted to remove the security guard’s firearm.
