Details:
Palm Desert Station Burglary Suppression Unit (BSU) conducted further investigation regarding a residential burglary that occurred on November 10, 2020, in the 44000 block of San Onofre Avenue, Palm Desert. BSU identified Justin Martinez, 25 of La Quinta, as a suspect for his involvement in the burglary. On December 3, 2020, BSU members with the assistance of the Coachella Valley Violent Crime Gang Task Force (CVVCGTF) served a residential search warrant and arrested Martinez in the 46000 block of Dune Palms Road, La Quinta. During his arrest, Martinez was in possession of the victim’s stolen property. Martinez was transported and booked at the John Benoit Detention Center, in the city of Indio.
