Details:
In September 2018, a suspected car to car shooting occurred on the I-15 Freeway between Murrieta and Wildomar. The victim’s car sustained several bullet holes and a passenger suffered an injury to the neck from a fragment. The victims of the shooting had limited information other than saying an unknown vehicle chased them on the freeway and shot at them. Members of the Murrieta-Temecula Regional Gang Task Force responded to the shooting scene and assumed the investigation. After a lengthy investigation, the suspected shooters were identified as documented criminal street gang members Hayden Taylor and Daniel Bobo. On September 13, 2019 both suspects were arrested over an 8 hour period in separate counties. Region 4 Gang Task Force members arrested Daniel Bobo in Rancho Cucamonga and the Riverside Sheriff Department’s Fugitive Warrant Enforcement Team (FWET) arrested Hayden Taylor in Los Angeles. They were eventually booked into Cois Byrd Detention Center on several charges including attempted murder and gang enhancements.
