On Thursday, October 1,, 2020, between 7:00 am and 2:00 pm, the Palm Desert Station’s Special Enforcement Teams, East-Post Accountability and Compliance Team (PACT), and the Coachella Valley Violent Crime Gang Task Force, conducted numerous parole and probation compliance checks within the cities of Palm Desert and Rancho Mirage.
During the operation multiple subjects were arrested for a myriad of violations such as possession of a controlled substance, possession of drugs for sales, possession of drug paraphernalia, felon in possession of a firearm, felon in possession of ammunition and violation of probation. Also, during the operation, a stolen vehicle was recovered, and problematic residences were cited for being out of compliance by the cities’ Code Enforcement Divisions. All subjects were booked at the John Benoit Detention Center in Indio.
