On Wednesday, September 30, 2020, at 8:15 P.M., members of the Moreno Valley Station’s Special Enforcement Team conducted a traffic stop in the 13000 block of Dracaea Avenue, in the city of Moreno Valley. Deputies contacted, Alex Quevedo, a 21-year-old resident of Moreno Valley, and documented criminal street gang member. Deputies determined Quevedo was on probation for narcotics sales. A subsequent search of Quevedo’s vehicle revealed a loaded .40 caliber semi-automatic handgun. Quevedo was taken into custody and charged with being a Felon in Possession of a Loaded Firearm, Felon in Possession of Ammunition, Possession of a Firearm with an Altered Serial number, and Probation Violation. Quevedo was booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center.
