On Wednesday, September 16, 2020, at 8:11 P.M., members of the Moreno Valley Station’s Special Enforcement Team-Gang Unit conducted a traffic stop in the 13000 block of Kitching Street, in the city of Moreno Valley. Deputies contacted Denzeal Young, an 18-year-old resident of Moreno Valley, and documented criminal street gang member. A subsequent search of Young’s vehicle revealed two loaded semi-automatic handguns. Young was taken into custody and charged with being a Felon in Possession of a Loaded Firearm, Felon in Possession of Ammunition, Possession of a Concealed Firearm in a Vehicle, and Possession of an Unregistered Firearm. Young was booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center.
