On September 10, 2020, at 6:20 PM, Riverside County Sheriff’s Department SWAT, served a search warrant at the 400 block of Mistletoe Avenue in the City of San Jacinto. The search warrant stemmed from a sexual assault investigation in which the suspect was believed to be armed with a firearm and hiding out at this residence. During the course of the search warrant, Steven Miranda, 40 of San Jacinto refused to exit the residence. At 7:05 PM, Miranda exited the residence and surrendered to SWAT personnel without incident. Miranda was arrested for an assortment of sexual assault charges. He was booked at Larry Smith Correctional Facility.
