Details:

On August 12, 2020, The Thermal Sheriff’s Station patrol jurisdiction and neighboring cities of Indio, Palm Desert, Thousand Palms, and Cathedral City began experiencing a series of window smash commercial burglaries. Investigators from the Thermal Station assumed the investigation and identified multiple suspects responsible for the thefts. On September 3rd, 2020, residential search warrants were served in the city of Coachella and the city of Indio. The searches yielded numerous items of evidence related to the burglaries and investigators subsequently arrested Jesus Navarro, 38 years of Indio, Adrian Padilla, 39 years of Coachella, Devin Vicuna, 20 years of Coachella, and Mark Villa, 19 years of Coachella. These suspects were later booked at the John Benoit Detention Center on a variety of charges.
