On Wednesday, August 19, 2020, at 8:30 am, Riverside County Sheriff’s Department deputies assigned to La Quinta responded to a residential burglary in-progress in the 51700 block of Avenida Herrera. The deputies surrounded the house and called for a K-9 deputy to respond and assist them. Prior to the K-9 deputy arriving on scene, two men exited the house and surrendered to the deputies.
