Details:

Deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Southwest Station conducted a Traffic Enforcement Saturation patrol on August 14, 2020 in the city of Temecula. The patrol targeted unsafe drivers throughout the city of Temecula from 6:00pm to 12:00am.

Deputies made 2 arrests for driving under the influence with numerous other citations for various violations.

The traffic saturation patrol targeted unsafe drivers to help prevent and reduce the number of traffic collisions within the city of Temecula.

Traffic Safety Saturation patrol will continue throughout the year to help reduce the number of traffic collisions and ensure the safety of the motoring public.

Funding for this Saturation Patrol was provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
