On Monday, July 27, 2020, about 5:47 PM, deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department - Perris Station responded to a vehicle versus pedestrian traffic collision in the parking lot of a distribution center, located near the intersection of West Ramona Expressway and Indian Avenue in the city of Perris. Deputies arrived within minutes and located a collision involving a big rig and a pedestrian. The pedestrian suffered major injuries and later succumbed to his injuries on the morning of July 28, 2020 at a local hospital. The identity of the pedestrian is not being released at this time.
The Perris Traffic Reconstruction Team responded to the location and assumed the investigation.
