On July 16, 2020, about 10:30 a.m., deputies assigned to the Southwest Station were dispatched to a report of an assault incident, on the “Santa Gertrudis Creek Trail” (run and bike path) underneath Winchester Road, city of Temecula. Upon arrival to the area, deputies found a female with minor to moderate injuries stating she had been sexually assaulted by an unknown race male, medium complexion, 17 to 24 years of age, medium height, thin build, riding a beach cruiser style bicycle.
