Details:
On Monday, July 6, 2020, at 4:20 pm, a member of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department K-9 team, contacted Daniel Avila, a 29-year-old resident of Indio, at the 70000 block of Dillion Road in the unincorporated area of Desert Hot Springs. Avila was found to be in possession of a loaded handgun. Avila was taken into custody and booked into the John Benoit Detention Facility in Indio.
