On Monday, November 5, 2018, Lake Elsinore Station deputies responded to the 100 block of S. Lowell Street in the city of Lake Elsinore in reference to an assault with a deadly weapon and possible home invasion. Upon arrival, deputies learned two armed suspects attempted to enter a residence. When the resident confronted the suspects, he was physically assaulted, after which the suspects fled the scene.
The Lake Elsinore Station Investigations Bureau was contacted and continued with the investigation. Investigators were able to identify the suspects as Sean Cendro, a 36-year-old resident of Lake Elsinore, and Brian Schweitzer, a 40-year-old resident of Lake Elsinore.
