Dispatcher, Public Safety (Advanced)
Overview: This course was designed for experienced dispatchers to increase their knowledge, skills, and to better prepare them for the challenging situations they are exposed to on the job. The course agenda includes, but is not limited to, topics such as: hearing vs. listening, getting along with co-workers, and components of communication.
Prerequisite: Must be currently employed by a law enforcement or public safety agency and have completed a Basic Public Safety Dispatcher course (ADJ-D1A) or equivalent.
Payment is now required at the time of enrollment. If your agency will be mailing a check, use promo code PENDING. Please note: Tuition is due 10 days prior to the start of the class, if payment is not received on time you will be dropped from this course.
