Women's Fitness Challenge events give women who are interested in a law enforcement career an opportunity to meet women who have already joined the Sheriff's Department and achieved successful careers and distinction in their fields.

Part of the challenge is to get tested for fitness and agility. Women who successfully complete the physical fitness assessment may apply for a Deputy Sheriff or Correctional Deputy job with the Sheriff's Department. The fitness assessment tests are:
- A 1.5 mile run
You will have one minute each to correctly perform 27 sit-ups and 22 push-ups. The 1.5 mile run must be completed in 14 minutes or less. Stopping or walking will result in disqualification.

- Raffle prizes will be given away after the Fitness Challenge.
- Law enforcement booths and static displays will be open to the public from 9:00AM - 11:00AM.
- The Women's Fitness Challenge will consist of push-ups, sit-ups and a 1.5 mile run.
All participants must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Bring valid government issued photo I.D.
- Wear appropriate fitness attire
No children or spectators during testing!
Check-in and onsite registration opens at 7:00AM and testing begins promptly at 8:00AM.
