In 1996, Sheriff Larry Smith directed the establishment of the Riverside County Sheriff's Athletic Federation (RSAF). The RSAF was created for the specific purpose of assisting and providing Department personnel with the opportunity to positively enhance the Departments reputation with the public through athletic competition and charitable donations. The RSAF is a non-profit benefit corporation, based out of the County of Riverside in the Golden State of California.
