On Monday, August 12, 2019, at 5:00 A.M. the Coachella Valley Violent Crime Gang Task Force with the assistance of Riverside County Sheriff SWAT served a search warrant near the 65000 block of Van Buren Street in Thermal.  During the service of the search warrant, Task Force Officers seized methamphetamine, cocaine and ammunition.  Additionally, evidence of narcotics sales occurring at the residence was collected to include approximately $7,000.00 in cash.  Ezequiel Ortega Nava, 45 of Thermal was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine/Cocaine for Sales, Felon in Possession of Ammunition and Committing a Felony while on Bail.  Nava was booked at the Indio Jail.
