Details:

On Sunday, July 28, 2019, about 11:29 PM, deputies responded to the area of Dillon Road, south of Harrison Place, reference a vehicle vs pedestrian traffic collision.  Upon deputies arrival an unidentified male was found deceased due to the collison.  The driver of the vehicle sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local area hospital and released.  The preliminary investigation does not indicate driver impairment.  Identification of the decedent is pending, due to notification of next of kin. 

The investigation is still ongoing and anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact, Officer McCoy at 760-863-8990 or Crime Stoppers at 760-341-STOP (7867).
