The first annual Ironman Triathlon will occur on Sunday, December 9th, 2018 at 7:00 a.m. in the cities of La Quinta and Indian Wells.  The race is 70.3-miles and it will begin at Lake Cahuilla. The athletes will proceed through the city of La Quinta, where they will finish at the Indian Wells Tennis Gardens.  There will be several road closures throughout the city of la Quinta, due to the athletes having the right of way.   We are asking the public to give themselves extra time when traveling through the citiy of La Quinta and Indian Wells.  Please visit the following websites for more information.
