Details:

On Monday, May 27, 2019, at 12:12 a.m., officers assigned to the Temecula Police Department responded to the area of the 31900 block of Rancho California Rd, in the city of Temecula, regarding an armed robbery. The armed suspect fled the area prior to the police arriving.  A short time later, a suspect matching the same description committed another armed robbery in the city of Menifee. 
Further investigation by the Temecula Police Department Burglary/Robbery Suppression Team, led to the identification and arrest of 21 year-old Joshua Phillips, of Temecula.  Phillips was later booked into Cois Byrd Detention Center on multiple charges including robbery and possession of a loaded stolen firearm. 

This investigation is ongoing, and we are asking anyone with additional information to contact Investigator Marquez at the Temecula Police Station at 951-696-3000
