On Saturday, November 11, 2017, at 3:37 AM, officers from the Temecula Police Department responded to an in-progress burglary located in the 40100 block of Canton Ct., in Temecula.  Officers learned the owner of the home was awoken by her residential alarm and discovered a white male adult had burglarized the home and set fire to the kitchen.  The suspect barricaded himself in the garage, set a second fire, and ran off with the owner’s car keys.  The homeowner attempted to stop the suspect but he entered the vehicle and fled the scene.  The victim, a 49-year-old white female, was not injured during the incident.

Moments later, officers located the vehicle, conducted a traffic stop, and arrested the suspect.  Jack Lee Larrabee, a 28-year-old Hispanic male and resident of Corona, was booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center in Murrieta for Burglary, Arson, and Carjacking.
