On Friday, January 8th, 2010, about 10:54 AM, Temecula Police received a report of a man down in the roadway near the intersection of Via Rio Temecula and Country Glen, Temecula. Upon arrival, officers discovered an unidentified male, approximately 21 years of age, deceased from an apparent gunshot wound. Investigators recovered a firearm at the scene and believe the injuries were self-inflicted.
The name and home city of the deceased is being withheld pending positive identification from the Coroner’s Office. Anyone with further information about this incident is encouraged to contact Deputy Harrell at the Temecula Police Department (951) 696-3000.
